U.S. Senate Democrats propose premium pay for essential workers

United States Senate Democrats want to introduce legislation to pay essential workers as much as $25,000 as part of coronavirus aid and response.
This would be on top their regular salary.
First responders, health care workers and truck drivers all could fall under the umbrella for the Heroes Fund.
"People that work in grocery stores, a whole array of workers and the definition of that, will have to be worked out," Sen. Bob Casey.
